Ronchi will do well and he'll become NZC's first of several specialist engine room bats who reside at No. 7 in NZ conditions. Hesson will have Williamson Fleming'd into partnering Latham at the top. Young comes in at No. 3.
Kippax you're killing me

And ****, if you're going to throw out wild card selections like Ronchi why not do it with some actual good players like Jesse Ryder and Jeetan Patel?

No DRS in this series is also going to piss me off.

Actually I won't be watching any of it cos I'll be walking around with camels and stuff so it's probably for the best.

Would like one of Shahbaz Nadeem and Karn Sharma be given a shot after India are 3-0 up after the third test :ph34r:

Bloody love it TBH, I'm trying to get kids I coach to not argue with umpires...so I might be biased against anything that disrespects accepting a decision.

India are getting close to using DRS soon though yeah? I seem to read about how close they are all the time but it may be a step forward and 2 back...

Right, because prior to DRS a player never once questioned an umpiring decision.

At the junior level it seems to have increased in my area mate. I think DRS and other replay technology adds to that belief of not accepting decisions. I can see the positives at the top level but in the juniors I think it's having an adverse effect.

Fair enough, I think with stricter punishments and coaches with integrity that could be stamped out regardless of DRS though.

There are many things at play, but role models aren't just coaches but the players that are seen on TV or at the ground and commentary probably as well. That's not to mention the role of parents at home.

@BCCI where is Raina?

@BCCI again Dhawan got a chance instead of Gambhir who is deserving better than him.

@BCCI where is @iamyusufpathan

@BCCI why did you'll drop binny??

Gambhir's been in good touch, definitely more so than Dhawan. Been eclipsed by his opening partner Mayank Agarwal though. And he's 35, of course.

Good to hear we've served up a green wicket and the only spin NZ will face is part time.

Tour games are getting borderline useless now

Apparently Latham's retired on 55. Would have preferred him to keep batting.
