Wouldnt have happened without the Hong Kong T20 Blitz tbh
Yes. The HK T 20 Blitz showed the energy HK is famous for. Well done HKCA. Pity about the weather and the crap ground and drainage . That's what you get with a tightass mindless HK Chinese Government who don't support sport save for horse and dragon boat racing. Even the Mainland China Government puts HK to shame in terms of investment in sports facilities.
We actually have domestic league games being held at that ground this season FTR.***** . Thanks. Great to hear that . Lets hope that the HK T20 Blitz will soon be held at a cricket ground like this one, in SZ 25 km from the HK border at Lo Wu.

I'm quite low in the pecking order. I haven't umpired an official HK domestic game yet. Just friendlies, and part of a women's T20 as my assessment.stupid question here ***** but how far are you from umpiring a HK game in HK? you seem to have done some fairly notable games from memory
Yeah this was one of the biggest upsets ever IMO, especially the margin of victory. I raised an eyebrow after the first innings but assumed a flat pitch. Wow.In another result Saudi Arabia smash Namibia at home by 140 runs in a motza upset.
What division are Saudi Arabia?
None of their players seem to have birth records on any of the major cricket sites, but about half of the eleven that beat Namibia had previously played for their Under 19s side, which means they've been at least partially developed locally.Have Saudi Arabia suddenly had an influx of quality cricketet playing expats? Or is this a home-grown squad?
doubtful considering some test teams don't get paidNamibians were paid imo
