Probably looking at Gary Cahill. It won't make much difference on the pitch but giving it to Rooney is a political error. Makes him harder to drop if his performances get even worse.

Looks like a good deal for Bayern now that I think about it. I doubt he'll ever play a game for them but they're getting him at one-year-on-contract price so will probably be able to quickly turn him over to another Bundesliga club for a profit. If he breaks through for Bremen and they decide they want him as a player, that's a bonus.

Yeah I agree, but logic and reason seem to be frowned upon by those who work for the FA. Rooney retaining the captaincy is about as predictable as Monday following Sunday, or so it seems to me anyway.

They have expanded the competition to let Premier League and Championship under 23 sides join in. Basically made it a farce as in the northern section we have Cambridge away at Middlesbrough. It was a competition nobody cared about before until you had reached the area semi final so even less are bothered now.

Drop? He plays till he has all records for club and country no matter how long that takes.

While I do agree that Aguero should probably be banned for what he did, it's hard to buy that Andre Marriner didn't see the incident.

Don't think it'll happen as there's been barely anything around it. The type of transfer where there'd be a bit of smoke before the fire. And I reckon the type of transfer where Arsenal would have to pay through the nose.

I care! We got a win, even if 3 of our 4 goals were scored by centre backs...

The boycott was a success. Hopefully they will consign this idea to the dustbin on the back of it - and with it should go the ghastly idea of B Teams ever soiling our pyramid.
