haha i love how ex-players have no self awareness.Clarke having a go at Smith for heading home in a live series is pretty rich, tbh.

whatAre they capable of making roads in the SC?
Mahela, Kumar, Sanath and Roshan send their regardsAre they capable of making roads in the SC?
I think all the pitches were pretty good home condition pitches. Good bats and application could make runs and good bowling got rewarded. **** batting and bowling got punished. Great Test cricket all round. The SSC is usually one of the roadiest roads in the world, but I thought it was a pretty awesome pitch this time around, tbh. They obviously tried to make it take a bit more spin than usual after what happened in the first two Tests, but I think that made for exactly the sort of the wicket I'd like to see regularly in the subcontinent.
So playing the ipl is apparently more of a learning experience for him than captaining the national team . You'd think he should relish every moment and get as much experience as possible leading the side when he's only just taken over the reigns a few months ago.He did not rule out taking his break from cricket during the IPL, but was quick to suggest the tournament was a valuable experience.
"For me, I've got a lot of time for the IPL," he said. "I think it's been a great learning curve for me. I think I've learned a lot about the way I play, particularly white-ball cricket, from the IPL. Playing a lot of back-to-back games I think you learn a lot about yourself as a player. I've certainly got a lot of time for the IPL in that respect. But captaining Australia is a lot of hard work and takes a lot of time. At some point, maybe it could give. For now, I want to continue trying to play everything that I can."
It's a new pitch isn't it? They used a brand new pitch in the series vs India last year and it was a genuine greentop which produced a brilliant test.
Given how India tended to bat against him I'm surprised it was that many.Agree with everything but just saying Clarke only bowled 6 overs when he took his 6 for
That's a ridiculous average opening, an ODI great.Dilshan has announced retirement.
Averages 46 opening with Sr of 90. 21 centuries. Easily the biggest matchwinner for Sri Lanka since Jayasuriya in ODIs. Better than Sanga, Mahela, Aravinda, Vaas or even Murali.
tbf a bowler to batsman comparison in terms of impact is unfair just because the bowler can only impact 10% of the game while a batsman can impact 50%.Dilshan has announced retirement.
