Joe Shmoe's attitude to spin in Australia sucks.
BangerofLangerLol literally any schmuk can jog up and run through a team on a greentop. Stuart Binny 6/4 #NeverForget

Ishant Sharma took a 7 fer at the home of cricket bouncing out England's entire batting lineup.Lol no think how much more often that happens with part-time spinners though. Clarke, Border, North, Katich, Bevan all have test 6 fers. How many does Brett Lee or Andrew Flintoff have?
Joe Shmoe's attitude to spin in Australia sucks.
Haha you really could have found a much, much better example than that. He took three wickets.. against Zimbabwe.. only one of which was actually out.. and it was a half volley drilled for a catch to short cover.and also it doesn't take a genius to realise pace is a harder skill to harnass than spin
any joe shmoe can roll his arm over and potentially be a max-effect spinner with the right pitch, look at Guptill recently
vic_orthodox is also a spinner.as someone who has bowled off-spin for twenty years i can tell you I have much more respect for pacemen. it is simply a harder skill to acquire. sorry if this hurts your feelings
So Finch to bat at 5 in India with Wade at 6.
Head's batted alright as well. Could get a nice N/O 50+ (SR < 75) here.
Angelo Mathews goes okay.look this is silly
Clarke, North, Katich, Borde and Bevan. Specialist Batsmen who had a go at spinning and produced insanely results and all have test 6fers. Even if it was only one day, they were unplayable for that one day.
How many times has a part-time pace bowler done something like this? Sourav Ganguly is a better example for you OS and he never came close. Ishant trained pace all his life even if he's not up to scratch compared to aussie pacemen. Check and mate.
Paul Collingwood was pretty comparable to lots of part-time spinners too.Angelo Mathews goes okay.
