Siri the better bowler IMO, and there have been right handers in for most of the innings. I probably would've bowled de Silva instead of Dilshan up front though.

I dunno.. reckon he still would have found a way to make a few runs which is more than most of your other batsmen did.
Although I have to state I am a bit biased here. Met the guy when he was a Chennai Super King and thought he was a wonderful bloke. Top Guy.

I don't think any one player would have changed the outcome of the Tests but even that aside there are probably twenty batsmen I would've picked before Bailey.

He would hae been a better option than Henriques at 5 in the final Test.
Bailey actually had a decent season at Tasmania too so it wouldnt have been the absolute worst decision but the general vibe is that he is done as a Test player.
Wade had actually been ok at closing out innings in recent series tbf. Not his Natural role, but he settled into it relatively well.

I'm not an Aussie fan, and Bailey is not very good in the longest format - but that's not the reason I'm replying to this post of yours.
Please don't make this small inning trick you into thinking that Bailey is even semi-decent against spin on crumbling pitches - he is absolutely horrible.

I'm not sure about Head in the lower-middle order. He bats top 3 pretty much all the time in State cricket and no. 6-7 in ODIs, especially in Asia, is a very different position. But I guess any batsman you pick will tend to play most of their Domestic cricket in the top order because that's where the good players bat

The Finch wicket was interesting. Didn't really look like he hit it at all but still given out on "review" (didn't have hot spot or snicko).
