I've come to the conclusion that all the major T20 West Indian specialists are douchebags.
What's infuriating is that at least some of them are distinct, but literally every side has a medium-pace bowler who tries to bowl a few overs of slower balls and biffs a bit down the order. Russell has actual stardom based entirely on personality - as there is nothing remotely interesting about his cricket - and that personality is a prick

Nah that is guff. Russell normally bowls mid to high 80s and has been the standout player in IPL, Big Bash and was huge in the T20 WC. To pretend he is basically Steven Mullaney who DJs is so wrong

Yeah Russell is obnoxious, but absolute gun in this format, don't forget his fielding is beastly.

Looking tough for notts now, the selection of christian over Tahir not justified:laugh:

Not sure that could ever be justified, particularly given Christian is at best the 7th bowler.

Fairly standard Notts batting performance so far, top order collapse then some quick scoring resistance in the middle order. That is often followed by another batting collapse.

So should be an interesting chase.

Yeah good call, Andre to good for this shower.

Supposedly Broad wants to play the Big Bash, best of luck with that:laugh:

Why did Sanga retire again? What a legend

Also, I can't help thinking SL would legit be one of the best teams in the world today if he was still playing.

Yorks have jammed all the internationals back into the side, after having a severe lack of batsmen in the QF they have stacked the batting order so that Lyth or Root will be the backup option.

Will Rhodes can feel hard done to. Has a better batting strike rate than Ballance and has bowled in 9 out of 10 matches.

Should be a very strong side but it's not played together all season, so who knows.

Yea Notts returnees hardly set the tournament alight.

I'm fairly sure that the ninth circle of hell is one where they play the pop music from cricket grounds on repeat while it's just always between overs

Great keeping from Bairstow. He did well last few tests and last few games for Yorkshire. Hoping against hope he can carry on enough to be decent test keeper.

This is the first time I have ever seen Stokes successfully bat in a T20 match. Typical.

I'm gonna go watch the swordfight dancing or whatever they're doing in Rio today

Suppose I should be pleased for Stokes, England need him to be a better player in this format. He is technically up against an international attack, though it's not been much of a strong bowling performance.

Good thinking from Rafiq, that wide half tracker was destined to go straight to mid off.

Reckon Yorkshire will be favourites to chase 160 so Durham still have a surprisingly long way to go going into the last few overs. Rain stalled them a bit.
