This is exactly the wrong attitude to have though. There are lots of good reasons to have a two tier system, but wanting it because you don't want West Indies to plays tests vs India is a ****ing dire reason.

The proposal that teams in each division are mandated to play a number of tests against each other is the real positive aspect of the two tier system. Doing it because you don't want teams from the lower tier to play the bigger teams at all is piss poor.

I can understand the frustration with the Windies though. And personally, I am all for a two tier system too, esp. if it means sides like Ireland and maybe Afghanistan playing tests.

I think a India-Bangladesh 3 match series in Bangladesh right now, while still being 3-0 would be a bit more competitive. I think Bangladesh are a better batting side in their home conditions.
