Yasir Shah has nothing to do with why Pakistan will win this game.Interesting to see that Yasir has probably won two Tests this series with the ball and yet his series bowling average is over 40. I cannot imagine that has happened very often in a series of four matches or less..
It goes to show how much spinners are somewhat inherently downhill skiers.Interesting to see that Yasir has probably won two Tests this series with the ball and yet his series bowling average is over 40. I cannot imagine that has happened very often in a series of four matches or less..

Well ****...All those 20,000 runs count for nothing if he's gone to **** by the time you pick the bloke.
If your going to say you'd take Younis over Cook fine but don't try and imply he'd get into a team ahead of Cook as they are playing now because its patently false especially in regards to this current series.
It's not even a criticism really.burgey is going to love this post
Most comments sounded like they hadn't really seen Younis much.. that's what happens when you only watch Tests that your team plays in.I was actually so close to ripping into some of you guys at the time for knee-jerking over Younis, but given I'd actually missed a couple of his terrible-looking innings and it seemed to be the whole forum vs weldone, I wasn't ready to put my balls on the line for that one.
Missed opportunity for an epic I-told-you-so.
Yup, good lesson to never be afraid of unpopular opinion on here. Too many seem overly worried about 'towing the popular line'. This is probably the main competition:That is pretty classic, poor VT.
Younis' best ever innings given the context?
Yeah this certainly came to mind first up when the question popped up. Currently I'm a bit biased towards today's knock simply because I watched a big part of it and it's in England. This is probably the main competition:

vs Kumble + Harbhajan when they were both bowling well.
Pretty much. Thought PEWS wouldn't be one to tow the popular line. After a YK milestone or after he retires, when people get together and say "omg why doesn't this guy gets more attention, or why is he so underrated or why don't we know he has these achievements' PEWS you should remember this one time you didn't speak up. when it was needed for fear of not getting 'likes'Yup, good lesson to never be afraid of unpopular opinion on here. I didn't see any posts calling for him to be dropped; I definitely would have argued with those if I'd seen them.Pretty much. Thought PEWS wouldn't be one to tow the popular line.
