Hopefully we will get at least a couple more seasons of him before England take him. They will be reluctant to play him and Cook but eventually they will have to bring him in. Be interesting to see if his SR continues like it is or if he develops more ways of accumulating runs as he matures.

This is like the classic chokers/ under performers qf. Great draw 4 both clubs to play each other.

Please please please lets not take samit to Bangladesh and India.

Lol at the Middlesex bowling. Franklin, higgins and podmore bowling garbage. Spose fuller, Finn, Harris, helm are all missing.

Man I dislike Cobb. Garbage bat.

Durham hitting back after that epic throwaway against Somerset. Would be nice to have a proper pitch for Finals Day so Wood and others can show some skills, but expect it'll be the usual anti-cricket slow rubbish. Suppose there may even be an outside chance Stokes will be made available.

Head's departure appears to have left us having completely run out of batsmen. Despite Willey opening and Bresnan at six we've still got Plunkett at seven. Takes the piss.

It'd take the piss even more if it was a team in a simultated competition; you'd probably still end up with all that except with a really poor quality specialist batsman at #9 to top it off.

Actually, I guess Waite might fit exactly that..

It's weird that all you said is true and the team still has a keeper listed at #10 and someone who's played professional cricket as a primarily batting allrounder before at #11. It's like an even more exaggerated version of some of the proposed England Test lineups people have been tossing around where the tail either starts at 6 or 10 depending on your perspective.

This Waite lad bats 5 and got a ton in his last 2nd XI game so I think that's pretty much what's happening, except maybe he's good

2. Moeen
3. Ballance
4. Root
5. Vince
6. Stokes
7. Woakes
8. Haseeb Hameed
9. Rashid
10. Bates+
11. Ansari

Good to see Willey learnt from getting beaten on the outside edge when he defended. It's T20, you're a bowler who's opening, just belt the thing.

For someone who has only played T20 for about six years, you'd expect Tait to have worked out that firing miles over the batsman's head isn't quite the ticket any more.

Yorks well on top here. Looked dodgy for a minute after Lyth was out but all pressure left us in that over.

Not the position I'd give an offie his first bowl of the season.

Willey dominating, Glamorgan are all over the place.

There's only so many times you can yell 'catch!' to a ball that's sailing over the ropes before it becomes a bit of a cry wolf.
