I don't understand how someone can hold this opinion?
I think i've overplayed the point somewhat. Which ultimately was that this was a complete team performance with few, if any, outstanding individual contributions. Of course Ali's runs were important (there was a reason for including the word "ultimately". Perhaps i should have written "in pure statistical terms"). And, ironically, they were far more important coming from a batsman at no7 than had they come from a batsman at the top of the order. And clearly he was more deserving of the MotM than anyone else. But nobody, surely, can deny that it is a bit unusual for somebody in the side primarily for his bowling should win the MotM almost entirely for his batting? And when he didn't even score the most runs in the match! (if you include Pakistan).
I'd rather he made aggressive decisions and we were 3-0 down bro

Whenever you get reverse swing (particularly when it really comes from nowhere) there is always some suspicion and I guess those on the losing end of it go looking for **** like that.
