England are playing in Bangladesh prior to India series but they are better than WI at home so not totally a minnow.

Anyway, it really annoys me when Marsh is up in arms, declaring he has no idea how we can win. The answer is obvious and and has always been the case when we play overseas. More tour matches. We just can't expect to parachute in and expect to handle foreign conditions. The same bull **** runs with our approach to playing India or England - Playing with duke balls or having some random turning pitch at the academy doesn't make up for time in the middle.

TBH, the same can be said for other teams coming to Australia too. Boards all around the world are ensuring this does not happen as a policy these days.

Do you mean the home boards or the touring boards? Because generally the countries hosting are willing to give as many tour games the touring side wants, but it's the touring sides that limit the length of time they want to tour the country. They don't want to come early if they can help it.

It's a problem of scheduling. The cricket calendar does not allow for such kind of preparation and multiple tour games. Any free time a team gets on rare occasions is filled with meaningless LO series or this year a mini IPL.
