Yeah, off the top of my head I couldn't say when they decided that they weren't going to try and win that one. From an English pov, I always thought they had an outside chance until Gilchrist was out.
And obviously Ponting's was one of the ATG innings. You certainly couldn't describe it as blocking.

Nah not even close to the same thing. That game they were still batting relatively normally. Strike-rates were all still about 50. Here you've got a 9 (80) and a 4 (59).
