Why don't they play Siriwardana, Shanaka, and Prasanna.. at least they've shown some promise, albeit in limited overs formats. Their persistence with tried and tested failures like Karunaratne, Silva and these assorted Mendises and Pereras in Tests is just weird.

I'm slightly concerned about how this wicket will play in the 4th innings. It looks now like it should break up and spin square, but the comms put out some stats at the start of the test that the ave runs per wicket increases dramatically each innings (based on it's short test history to date) and I think they said an ave of 80 something per wicket in the last innings!! I know Pakistan chased a big total to win here.

I quite fancy SL at $3.60 but I'm hesitant to bet given the history.

Pakistan had that big record chase on this pitch didn't they? Didn't watch any of that match so no idea if pitch totally different, but does suggest a history of flattening out. Sri Lanka will 220-250 I think as a minimum.

I put a small amount on SL-win after day1 when they were paying 19 (actually I did 'draw no bet' at 15 because I was a bit concerned looking at the weather forecast).

..wasn't a bad bet at that time...now it's too late I think

I think I'd wait and bet at $1.50, then hedge if/when a couple of wickets fell. But then again I know nothing about betting.
