It's odd that he thinks playing at Surrey will boost his test chances, as I can't remember the last time we produced a test match player.
Something that's unlikely to change if we drop back down to D2.

I've always liked the look of Stoneman when I've seen him bat. One of those players whose mediocre record always takes me by surprise a bit, but I suppose he's played half his games at Durham throughout his career which was relatively spicy before this season, and I think he had a bad start too.

Yes he was fairly rubbish early on. Still a bit hit and miss, but the sort of player who can take the game away from the opposition so takes more risks.

My guess is that Surrey are paying him considerably more than anything Durham offered him. Durham have been struggling financially for a while, whilst Surrey are raking in the cash.

Two tournies sounds utterly stupid and the county one likely won't last more than a couple of seasons but if they're serious about getting games on terrestrial I'm all for it.

Cricket on terrestrial TV is more important than anything else.

Duckett with 631 runs in the last 9 days. 6 List a games and 1 2020 game. Heavy schedule, heavy scoring.

Yorkshire now look well set for both white ball quarter finals.

Sam Hain has been superb in white ball cricket this year. Another name to add to the ridiculous pile of batting talent we have coming through.

U19s piling it on. Anyone know about any of the team aside from Beard the bowler?

Yorkshire win by two wkts, one ball to spare, Bres 95 not out

You can't prove this isn't the greatest one-day innings of all time

Saq Mahmood looking good. Added 2 or 3mph since last winters u19 WC. Averaging mid to high 80s. Has the ability to bowl those good yorkers as well with a low arm.

Comical scorecard in the Glamorgan v Sussex T20.

101 all out, extras 26 - 3 of which were byes the rest no-balls and wides. Next highest score was 12. Only actually bowled 13.2 overs. Mills for instance took 2-14 off 3, but only actually conceded 3 runs off the bat.

Anyway really surprised Sussex got knocked out given the look of their bowling attack. I guess the batting didn't really show up.

I would rather see Ben Curran opening the batting than Stoneman.
