*Official* Australia in Sri Lanka 2016

I enjoy a match that shows the big difference between a team score of 100 and 200. Too often people treat a batsman scoring 4 and 40 as equal failures.

Aussie averages taking a hit this Test, first Warner drops below 50, then Smith drops below 60 and now Voges has a massive drop to only 92 ;)

While being congratulated by his team mates on picking up the wicket of Voges, the SL captain was heard to say of his bowler "If he had to do the same again, he would my friends, Fernando".

Even with that wicket reckon Aussies might have a match winning lead now, pitch starting to go properly now.

Neutral groundsmen for Tests should come into a consideration. Home team-favoring pitches just leave a bad taste IMO.

I'd be pretty disappointed if Australia did it to touring sides.

Australia always have and always will do it to touring sides, same as every other nation in the world.

Let's not get into the Aussie idea that their pitches are just naturally always suited to their type of players completely by fluke.

Australian pitches are crazy homogenised and have been for quite a while tbh (not buying into the debate on how pitches should be prepared btw).

I can never understand why there are always people refusing to except the plain and simple truth

No, Australia don't do it. Even remotely. If anything the opposite has been happening over recent years. And neither does every side do it. As I can recall South Africa don't, New Zealand don't.

It's really not even a matter of opinion, its plain and simple facts.

Is there a name for a left handed googly?
I've heard that it's this delivery that was originally called the 'chinaman', but I've also heard that's crap and that 'chinaman' refers to the stock ball. Either way I don't think it's an ideal name for a delivery.

For mine, he's bowling conventional wrist-spin, left handed, and that delivery is just a wrong'un. When Herath bowls an arm ball we don't call it something else just because he does it left handed.
