Bangladesh needs a good T20 hitter in middle order. Mushfiq, Shakib, Mahmudullah are all good ODI batsmen but none of them is a big T20 type hitter.
Yeah this is why BD has been failing repeatedly in t20s. The core players just can't adjust their batting for t20s. There is no one in the order with big striking capability too except Shabbir.

Thought it was a mistake to go for the green pitch. Even if Bangldeshi pacers were better, we are better at playing pace bowling.

Sabbir coming good at three is nice.

If Soumya is going to open with Tamim, then Imrul is definitely out of place. Soumya might actually suit a middle-order role better than Imrul so I'd swap them around, maximum utility and what not.

I assume this implies a non-participation on your part in the T20 related threads over the next few months.
Usually participate quite less in the T20 threads. Might watch the final of the World T20 but not sure what else I'll watch from the event. Maybe a few matches but it's not some thing which gets me excited at all.

In and out of the match, but don't under estimate Nehra in this format, he has been gun for a long time for Chennai in this format, some might scoff, but not many sides especially Bangladesh would turn their nose up at him if he was somehow to become available for selection. :)

He will probably get hammered against Pakistan and in the world cup now that I have bigged him up.

Have always been a fan of Nehra. Injuries took a toll on his career, else he could have done far better. I have seen him bowl a bit in the IPL and his inclusion in the team is definitely a good move.

Imrul's not in the WT20 squad at all; he's only playing here as a sub for Tamim. Which it what makes it so odd that he was not only straight into the starting XI but also in the middle order.

Reporting on Afridi 'reconsidering retirement' is a bit like reporting on a building's lift 'reconsidering going up', but his reasoning in this case is particularly magnificent

"I'm not saying that," he told ESPNcricinfo in Dubai, when asked if he was going to continue playing. "I am saying there is a lot of pressure on me that I shouldn't retire from T20. That I can play on, and as such there is no real talent coming through in Pakistan whose place I am taking.
Pakistan,

Exactly very weird. Nurul and Nasir were both left out and they are in wc squad. I was in favor of getting Imrul in for back up as I thought Tamim was injured and might not be available for wc but turned out he's on paternity leave and will be available in time. Now it makes no sense.

His fitness was circumspect from the start. Really didn't possess the calibre to cut at 50 over and test game at international level with that sort of fitness, and is now discovering his right place in T20s.

Rohit ****ing up Bangladesh again is awesome. Hope he just constantly beats the **** out of them everytime, ideally having been dropped or being reprieved thanks to a no ball on every occasion

Jadeja wac. Gave 2 extra runs if not all 5 bowlers would have had the same economy rate and 3 of them the exact same figures.
