Wtf guys. Why do you need your team to win to have a 'leg to stand on'? Why should the Kiwis stfu and 'know their place' in world cricket?

why do you guys connect what you can and cannot say to the success of the team you support? Why do you post like you need to get one up over the other team's supporters? This is why you guys are such **** posters that literally no one enjoys. Just stfu with the nationalistic bullcrap, and instead just talk about cricket. Just be fair, honest, impartial about what happens on the firld and simple appreciate the sport for what it is, instead of using it as a vehicle to express your latent insecurities / boost your self esteems and self worth.

If the team you support wins, fantastic. If they play **** and lose, that sucks. That should be the beginning and end of it. Stop making this a NZ vs Aus dick waving contest.

I'm not trying to rub it in. Some NZ posters don't seem to know where the team stands in world cricket. Jagging a win here and there does not make you a strong team. There is a bit difference in class between Australia and NZ and that is evident when you look at their records. NZ have only taken a few baby steps in the last couple of years and still have a long way to go.
Having a bowling unit that performs time after time does kinda make you a strong team, though, as does a consistently performing batting unit. 2013/14 Boult and Southee were performing consistently and were far more threatening with the ball than they have been in 2015/16. It doesn't make us a strong team now of course but the performances in the former time period were less random than those in the latter. And being a top class team means being at your best more of than not, not just "based on potential and past performances" which is basically how the current players are remembered.

Good win Aus.

Jord's Marks out Of 10.

NZ
Latham - 5 - Disappointing series in the sense that he didn't learn from Australia where he got starts in almost every innings but never went on with it
Guptill - 2 - Who thought selecting him in Test Cricket was sound.
Williamson - 4 - Better results than almost any other Kiwi Batsman, but went missing when we needed him most, didn't play to his potential at all
Nicholls - 2 - Doesn't look test quality
McCullum - 4 - One last great memory to remember you by Baz, but really bad captaincy, plan making and outside that innings, not test quality anymore
Anderson - 5 - Decent knocks in this test, bowling has a lot to be desired
Watling - 6 - Mostly great keeping and some gritty knocks in this match
Southee - 1 - Toothless with the ball, brainless with the bat
Bracewell - 2 - Toothless with the ball, no talent with the bat
Craig - 3 - Please convert yourself into a batsman, your spin bowling actually got you -2 from your score
Henry - 3 - Gets an extra point for his batting, but not ready for test cricket with the ball
Wagner - 8 - Heart, Sticking to a Plan and running in all day.
Boult - 1 - The worst performing player of the series for NZ considering his prospect talent

Aus
Warner - 2 - Went missing completely in both series, unlike him after a stellar few years
Burns - 7 - Solid opening batting and really good knock in this test
Khawaja - 7 - Not as good as he was in Aus, but still some solid innings here
Smith - 8 - Did much better than I expected him to in NZ for obvious road-reasons
Voges - 9 - Made the most of his reprieve from bad umpiring and really was the difference in the first test with Khawaja
Marsh - 6 - Pesky with the ball, useless with the bat for the most part
Nevill - 6 - Not a lot for him to do, so not a lot to go wrong
Siddle - 8 - Great bowling and lead the attack well as the veteran in the first match
Hazlewood - 8 - Great bowling, although was fortunate that a lot of wickets were gifts rather than him working hard
Patto - 9 - Best bowler on display bar none.
Bird - 5 - The five wickets in the final innings look good, but your bowling was **** for the most part
Lyon - 11 - GOAT! If batsman are willing to gift you 3 to 5 wickets a test then keep doing what you're doing.

They've forgotten it's supposed to be about the grammar.

But really it's like people in motorsport who dickwave over the manufacturer of the car, ignoring other stuff like there are actually drivers who are skilled and make the car go do stuff

Did Sir Richard lose a bet or something to have to spew this out? Like a surrender speech.

The biggest disappointment has been the NZ bowling.

The batting could have been expected, with Williamson doing well and the rest making a decent score in one or other of the games.

The bowling was going to be Boult and Southee and, apart from Adelaide when they were bowling in the twilight, they haven't been able to build any pressure and stop the Australian batsmen scoring.None of the supporting bowlers have been able to step up.

Why don't you stfu, don't read our posts if you don't care for them. I don't just post for your pleasure. Its not all about you *****, other posters can discuss what they want and don't need your approval to do so.

Disagree with 9 for Voges. Going by Runs at First Dismissal Voges scored about 10, 60 and 10*. That's an average of 40. Good, but properly worth a 5 or 6.

Anyone think Mark Craig should try and do a Mark Richardson and convert to opener? He has a higher career batting average than Stephen Fleming and that has to count for something.

Australian fans pretending like they saw the best of the NZ side here and weren't fortuitous that our players were severely below par. Nothing new here.

No different to a dropped catch in my view; he went on and made 200 for his side at a point that the match was reasonably poised had he not kicked on.

It's poor for Kiwi's to question Australia's record when it's much better than ours (and most other sides).

I actually wanted Craig opening in place of Guptill for this match...

New Zealand fans pretending staying in form isn't a part of being a quality team and it's fortuitous that you can blame the defeat on out of sorts players and injuries therefore doesn't matter.
