Nice of you to rub it in.
I'm not trying to rub it in. Some NZ posters don't seem to know where the team stands in world cricket. Jagging a win here and there does not make you a strong team. There is a bit difference in class between Australia and NZ and that is evident when you look at their records. NZ have only taken a few baby steps in the last couple of years and still have a long way to go.

We lose to Australia historically in every series except when Hadlee plays or we fluke something (1993) so that's anticipated.
Australia under Waugh and Ponting would have hated that record. so Australia are in far worse decline than we are relatively.

I love how the Australians have to attach "these are all time greats" to their current lot.
no one ever said that. Why do you keep posting these things?

Voges and Khawaja have both out performed Smith all summer long, but to point out that they're better players than Smithers is blasphemy.
Pretty sure you were saying the exact opposite yesterday

Pretty terrible considering Australia's historical record.
Not as much as you would think, India have always manned up against Aus and so have SA, England did have a lean patch but always provided competition and Pak is anyones guess. Historically Australia have been able to dispatch teams like NZ very easily so by drawing one test displays how much they have dropped off the pace.

Enzedders need to go back to the drawing board needing reassess their bowling and batting. A comprehensive win to aussies. Their new skipper (Williamson?) needs to put some fire in their bellies and play with a harder approach.

The biggest disappointment has been the NZ bowling.

The batting could have been expected, with Williamson doing well and the rest making a decent score in one or other of the games.

The bowling was going to be Boult and Southee and, apart from Adelaide when they were bowling in the twilight, they haven't been able to build any pressure and stop the Australian batsmen scoring.None of the supporting bowlers have been able to step up.

News flash

Players get old, retire and, in Bradman's case, die

When that happens, they need to be replaced and sometimes the team's performances suffer

Australia have a very poor record over the last five years, against England, SA in Australia, India in India and Pakistan in UAE.
Australia have the second best overseas record of anyone in that time btw

second only to SA
