The fact that you will be rejected and pack-bullied by the Kiwi clique on here, unless you frequently state that any and every Kiwi player is utter **** and that the Kiwi team is utter **** and that they both will always be utter ****, is one of the stranger things I've ever seen on the Internet.

If you're really honest about your posting in the last 6 months or so, repeatedly talking up NZ as one of the great sides ever and Australia as mediocre easy-beats, then you'll know you had a backlash coming.

As you've pointing out yourself there, why be so extreme in either respect? The true is usually somewhere in the middle.

Tbh, I think some of the Aussie fans have been relatively gentle on you given how this series was going to be the big turnaround following the Australian leg.

Nothing worse than going onto an online forum and slagging off other posters for posting a lot in said forum. If you're so above the rest of us lifeless dweebs then do us all a favour and piss off.

I find it pretty normal for the internet, especially established communities. You should try Reddit and see how that is.

Basically; you have a well established community where for the most part people are reasonable, with exception to a bunch of bullhead posters but ultimately they're the accepted bullhead posters that the moderators don't mind and even endorse at times. In that bunch of bullhead posters there are inferiority complexes which mean any new person with new views must be attacked and anyone who dares to post regularly inside the community without first building up a respectful base of approval posts and lurking forever rather than posting instantly will be targeted. The moderators won't do anything about this because it's the usual bullhead posters who probably do this every few weeks as new posters join the community. The new posters finally have enough, like the guy who lashed out earlier about it and ultimately they're probably moderated from the community because how dare the new people rise up against the old established tyrants who do their crap posting every day but ultimately are accepted for being crap posters and again endorsed.

That's the internet. It's wonderful and delightful. The best thing you can do is laugh at the cyclical nature of the internet community. Just don't do it in emoticon format because apparently that angers moderators too.

Also; this post will get the tl;dr response and/or people saying I'm wrong and/or people still claiming Lyon is GOAT!

The only thing I find interesting is how Australian fans think their side is currently weak and that they have had weak sides for the last five years. The Aussie posters have been great here with their banter and only really one or two of them feel the need to throw insults. Just don't mention that Smith isn't even the best batsman in his team, let alone the world, or that Lyon takes wickets through people being stupid rather than him being GOAT.

Usually if 90% of your posting content is talking about other peoples posting content rather than the points they're making, you're an absolute rubbish poster. If you're trying to critique other people on the way they post, you're probably the issue in the forum but it's OK if you're established, moderators will tolerate you doing that.

He's just one of the many in this side that do it though, even Williamson is guilty of giving away starts with some really bad cricket. I know I've harped on about it but the fact that Lyon has 10 wickets in the series in three innings is absolutely depressing considering the mode in which all of those wickets were taken. The umpiring decision on Voges in the last test cost us 200 runs, but the wickets we gifted to Lyon with no real reason cost us 400-500.

He has a terrible pull shot (this post to upset Hendrix) and constantly gets out in that fashion.

I actually think he is very mentally tough. It is hard yacka to make a 40 in a test match after seeing off the new ball. But he doesn't have a wide enough array of shots (pull shot included) that he has thoroughly mastered to move into safe 3-4 runs per over accumulation mode once he is past 40.

I have no doubt Lyon will get Southee, Boult and Henry. I have no doubt it will all be really plain average deliveries that ultimately are met with the crappiest non sensical stupid cricket shots possible. GOAT!
