Nah, you'd still get solid variation in pitches around the world, you'd just get fewer pitches that massively favour the side winning the toss, like those dungheaps in India last year.

Well you'd never get a green wicket, surely. Being guaranteed to always lose the toss would incentivize more "balanced" wickets though.

*** me Guptill, what's the thought process playing as wide as he did in the last Pattinson over(the one past 3rd slip). Lose the toss on a green track at still playing that wide after what happened in Wellington. Wtf do they talk about during the week?


Incidentally, Pattinson scares the **** out of me.
