Ffs aussie tragic
I think his 6 not outs in his first 19 innings is what is misleading this (does not appear normal). I consider 'fastest to 1000 runs' a more meaningful rating whereby he achieved it in 18 innings, the same as Mark Taylor, Doug Walters, Arthur Morris and Jimmy Adams. So someone does this every few years, right?
But it's only when quality players have their very best runs in cricket.
I'm still flapping around to try and put this Voges thing into perspective but maybe that's close
not misleading at all. If you get more not outs you're better because the bowlers don't get you out . . . obviously.I think his 6 not outs in his first 19 innings is what is misleading this (does not appear normal). Yeah anything to avoid having to accept that he's actually goodSo someone does this every few years, right?

Can you not go argue with the person you want to argue with, rather than me?Yeah anything to avoid having to accept that he's actually good
who would that be?Can you not go argue with the person you want to argue with, rather than me?
Don't know, just when you have a square argument to make with a round post, don't try mewho would that be?
Has anyone here ever said he is no good........why do you keep crapping on with this point??Yeah anything to avoid having to accept that he's actually good
no idea what you're talking about. Wasn't trying to make an "argument" of anything either btw.Don't know, just when you have a square argument to make with a round post, don't try me
Dozens of people. There are even entire threads about it. The Aus/NZ tour thread is full of people saying it. Don't post about something you have no idea about, which seems to be pretty much everything I've ever seen you post about.Has anyone here ever said he is no good........why do you keep crapping on with this point??
Seriously, you are such a dire poster.
If he played another 19 innings he'd have to average around 33 to get it there which would be kind of a poo runWhich would still mean he would have a career average of 50. Not too shabby.
Averaging 33 is pretty par for the course under tougher circumstances than he's had this summer, and the schedule is about to get tougher - away to SL and India and home to SA. Average of Australian batsmen under those circumstances this decade is 30.1. If you take out Clarke, that drops to 27.17.If he played another 19 innings he'd have to average around 33 to get it there which would be kind of a poo run
I trust you have filtered that to top 7 batsmen only? Because it seems really low.Averaging 33 is pretty par for the course under tougher circumstances than he's had this summer, and the schedule is about to get tougher - away to SL and India and home to SA.
