Is bowling a lot better than in Aust. Not giving up an easy boundary with a short ball every over.
Then he bowls two short balls in a row ....

Sometimes Baz is a little slow to defend boundaries, with Craig bowling to Khawaja who is very good at cutting anything slightly short, most other captains would have a deep point and give up the single.

Right, which will happen first? Khawaja's thousand runs or lunch?

Edit: Lunch wins the race

I give credit where credit is due. No credit to NZ as we are playing rubbish.
Today not rubbish. Mediocre, yes. Steady bowling on a good batting pitch against good batsmen. Craig has had an lbw chance (note that if it had been given out, would not have been overturned on DRS by an Aussie review).

You'd feel pretty stiff to be given out to something like that, though.

Yeah NZ haven't been inspiring today but they haven't been rubbish. The rubbish came yesterday.

Voges is batting for another cheeky wee "not out"

Whilst he's obviously never going to finish with Bradman figures, he's almost certainly going to finish his test career with a stupidly high average. Cricketweb 2030 will be picking him in their ATG XIs

We all talk about Smith, Root, de Villiers & Williamson as the premier batsmen in the world, could be Khawaja sneaking past all of them over the next couple of years
