Tough pic to look at. Some other retirements have been emotional, HBK's, Flair's and Edge's spring to mind. But all those guys had huge careers and you got the feeling there were ready to go (even Edge, despite being forced out through injury). Bryan on the other hand just seemed to have so much left to give, and after working his whole life for it reached the top spot only to be deprived of it cruelly. He put on a brave face for his promo, but clearly he was cut up. But that hint of sadness, I suspect, doesn't come close to showing how absolutely devo'd he is. Poor guy.

Yeah that's spot on. Edge and HBK had both had much longer WWE careers, and spent plenty of time as champion before they had to chuck it. It seems like Bryan worked so hard to scramble to the top of the pile against the odds. Then all of a sudden had it taken away from him.

:(

It was pointed out on meltzer's radio show that before last night, he was on a 12 match winning streak....which no one knew about and was then ended by Adam Rose

Haha, I'd noticed he'd been winning for a while, but it seemed obvious that it was going nowhere interesting. I guess this has just confirmed that.

Reckon this is fair. Was utterly stupid and unprofessional to do it in front of a live audience, let alone during a broadcast for something that had a lot of eyeballs on it.

Didn't think Titus was that dumb tbh.
nah 60-90 day suspension is not fair by any measure. i don't think any suspension is. a fine maybe, but this is totally overboard. and by suspending him and having the footage edited out Vince is just drawing more eyes to it. if Vince was upset by it, i don't see how this makes things any better. a lot more people will know about it now

Not Terrible
Maintaining a semblance of professionalism/character while on stage or being broadcast should definitely be demanded IMO. I'm fine with the suspension, though I suspect he'll be back sooner rather than later.

Justin Gabriel got future endeavored for less.

Edit: Also worth noting that we don't know if Titus had other issues going on with HR/Vince or if their had been word backstage regarding how they should act on stage that night or if Vince was getting tired of people playfighting with him and wanted to set an example.
