Plus root isn't as good with the range hitting as others, but need him to bat through.

I dunno man, he got a big cushy IPL contract and has always been hugely rated in white ball cricket, so I doubt he belongs to "test cricket is pinnacle" group, I just think he could be finished. South Africa may still win this match and series, but for the world cup in India, they can't afford a spinner so woefully out of form as he will be decimated.

I actually think Wiese has been okay since his first couple of overs. He's definitely bowled better than Tahir and he's been better than Morkel too IMO.
