Root is so, so good. Shame about the run out but that could be a match winning innings. 320 from here should be the target.

318 a good total, possibly could have been more without Root's run out but all in all a very good effort without Buttler/Morgan contributing.

Decent score but it can be chased. The problem of course being that South Africa is the worst chasing team in the world.

With that said, whether they have a shot or not will all come down to Amla. If he gets out early again, the chase is toast.

De Kock perhaps the more important wicket atm. England don't know how to bowl to him once he gets going.
