Hazlewood ODI batting status: Still not out.
Not when it's against these lowly teams though. Who even cares. Big Show didn't even care to perform against these smaller teams in their tiny grounds in the backwaters.Should always look sour when you lose a match IMO.
Yeah couldn't agree more. Especially a decider, and in that fashion. If you're captain you don't want to see anyone smiling for at least an hour.Should always look sour when you lose a match IMO.
I'm not a massive Steve Smith fan but he spoke his mind, good on him. Said NZ were the better team in the series, the right decision was made on the Henry catch but wasn't too sure about the way it was done. Didn't think Henry appealed.Missed the preso. What did he have to say?
I legitimately thought you were being ironic!I wasn't aware of that.
Pretty much what we all said in here about the caught and bowled.Missed the preso. What did he have to say?
You hear that Hendrix?Awesome decision to give MOTM to Sodhi instead of just going with Guptill, Henry or Anderson who had better games on paper. He really turned the game.
You could argue that Henry's double-strike to remove Bailey and Marsh was just as critical to the win, but Sodhi's wickets came when a big Aus win looked a certainty and really bought the match to life.Awesome decision to give MOTM to Sodhi instead of just going with Guptill, Henry or Anderson who had better games on paper. haha I wasn't giving you ****, I thought you were making a joke! You hear that Hendrix?
And this is why if a spinner picks up wickets, it usually wins the game for the team because they bowl at those critical points, when a partnership can take away the game. Not exactly a massive Sodhi fan so far but happy to see him contribute today. Made the difference for me.You could argue that Henry's double-strike to remove Bailey and Marsh was just as critical to the win, but Sodhi's wickets came when a big Aus win looked a certainty and really bought the match to life.
Feel a twinge for Tastle though, he's never gonna get a go on a tour of India now.haha I wasn't giving you ****, I thought you were making a joke!
He was bloody good and is a great talent.
Hope that's the last time I ever hear that song.Nice touch playing Pearl Jam's 'Better Man', which McCullum plays when he comes out to bat. Appropriate song to send him off too.
Amplitude is an irrelevance. I used to umpire women's cricket and there was a local bowler (decent in-duckers) and her appeals were barely audible. Henry's appeal would have been the loudest appeal most of the teams in that grade would ever have made.there's plenty of criticisms to make of the process but henry's appeal isn't one of them. You shouldn't have to jump up and down like a 12 year old for it to count.
24? When the players were shaking his hand at the end, I actually thought he was someone's kid or perhaps one of the kiddie flag wavers at the start of the game.Hesson looks like a 24 year old debutant
