Missed the preso. What did he have to say?
I'm not a massive Steve Smith fan but he spoke his mind, good on him. Said NZ were the better team in the series, the right decision was made on the Henry catch but wasn't too sure about the way it was done. Didn't think Henry appealed.

Awesome decision to give MOTM to Sodhi instead of just going with Guptill, Henry or Anderson who had better games on paper. He really turned the game.
You could argue that Henry's double-strike to remove Bailey and Marsh was just as critical to the win, but Sodhi's wickets came when a big Aus win looked a certainty and really bought the match to life.

Nice touch playing Pearl Jam's 'Better Man', which McCullum plays when he comes out to bat. Appropriate song to send him off too.

And this is why if a spinner picks up wickets, it usually wins the game for the team because they bowl at those critical points, when a partnership can take away the game. Not exactly a massive Sodhi fan so far but happy to see him contribute today. Made the difference for me.

there's plenty of criticisms to make of the process but henry's appeal isn't one of them. You shouldn't have to jump up and down like a 12 year old for it to count.

Amplitude is an irrelevance. I used to umpire women's cricket and there was a local bowler (decent in-duckers) and her appeals were barely audible. Henry's appeal would have been the loudest appeal most of the teams in that grade would ever have made.
