a shame Wade got out before he could try more scoops and flicks, and before he could face more than 8 balls, which is the average for a number 7

I am impressed. It was a nice strategy, intentional or not, to bowl wide to someone hitting the ball as hard as it could be hit.

Where will they play Usman in this side? Wonder if they would go usman at 3 and smith at 4. Maxwell 5, watson 6.

Stats don't lie - Oz is a terrible T20 team

I'd pick

Usman
Warner
Smith
Lynn
Watto
Maxwell
MMarsh
Faulkner
Haddin
Pattinson
Lyon

Australia should just pick whatever spinners are likely to have lbw shouts turned down, then have Wade scream at the umpires until they get a couple of horrid lbw decisions their way.

Smith can start just randomly shouting angrily at everyone for no reason.

Seems to be the tactic.

India are a totally different side when their spinners can find some purchase. Ashwin and Jadeja bowled them to victory in this.

Bumrah is impressive. Like what I see so far. Can be a very good LO bowler.

They aren't cool enough to pull it off

And it looked out live and the mat looked dodgy as was called by Slats and Taylor on commentary on Star.

Its not even that the pitch has to be a dustbowl. As long as it is not a lifeless flatland, its amazing how good Jadeja and Ashwin suddenly become. We might have our spin version of Anderson and Broad. #wishfulthinking.

Just how good did the side suddenly look today? Batsmen who can bowl, bowlers who can hold a bat at least till 9 in the line up, bowlers who can bowl yorkers and slower balls and not be one dimensional, spinners who can attack and batsmen batting with freedom knowing that there is a reasonably long batting line up behind them. I am obviously carried away by an one-off win and performance here but what really felt great to me was the set up of the side.

IF only the youngsters coming through worked harder to add a 2nd and 3rd string to their bows...

From my observations, if there is even a little bit of drift, skillful spinners can come in very handy in LO cricket. Afridi over the years has been a very good LO spinner and he is not even a turner. He just uses a bit of the drift. Same goes for Shakib, another good LO bowler.

Kohli having a go at Smith after taking his catch? What was that happened? Is there a history between these two?

This is why I love India-Aus encounters. A belligerent bunch of brats, bullies and braggers

Richardson's fielding performance was pretty damn ordinary. Two misjudged catches, then he was pathetically lazy in not executing a run out opportunity off his own bowling later in the innings. Forget his shoddy bowling, in T20's that sort of fielding effort should be enough to have your place in the side questioned.

He ran out Kohli and IMO caused the biggest turning point of the second ODI. So maybe he just had a bad day.
He was just yapping away on the mic to the commentators. Maybe Kohli didn't realise and thought he was talking to them or something. Or he was just being a ****.

Was I the only one who noticed Kohli and Watson friendlily smiling at each other in between balls? What's up with that?

When you put up one of the biggest dicks of the game with another one of the biggest dicks of the game, do they cancel each other out or something?
