Cricketer Of The Year
What I like about Manjrekar is that he seems to want to learn more about the game and gain new perspectives as opposed to most of the older guys like Gavaskar or Chappell who have their set "this is how it was back in my time and I refuse to learn anything about the way the game is played now".Ya that explains. My reaction to Sanjay's commentary has gone from annoyance to liking over the past 1 year or so.
Manjrekar started off around 2002-03 and since then he has actively tried to observe and analyse the game as it is played today and form perspectives on that rather than "oh back in my time in the 80s when I scored a century against Wasim and Waqar'.
