It looks like the MCL is really happening and the Capricorn Commanders are really about to give Jeets US$56,000.

That's bound to perk up his interest in maybe getting some face time in India at the T20 WC, surely. Or would that be reneging on the whole "retired players only" bit.

I'm suspecting Josh Clarkson may be mud v spin?

1 off 15 balls currently in current match starting v spin. Out early to spin in previous games.

Some work required?

Disclaimer: opinion formed entirely from looking at scorecards .....

Although to cut Clarkson some slack in this game (and he was dismissed by Nair in 2 balls in the first game). Nair would appear to be absolute gun.

Australian Rachin Ravindra. Or the closest thing they have to one, anyway. His progress has been documented on YouTube since he was 10 or something, although much like Rachin's I think most of it has been deleted now.

Another lolapse. That's 2 in 3 games. Keeper has 2 ducks, from 2 at bats.

Kippax wondering about that Harden lad?

Yeah Bob Carter's Canty favourite better be very good with the gloves when we see him. Harden's not in the squad.

When looking at the scorecards for the U19s, then career averages. Stands out how inexperienced the kiwis are compared to the others. All but Finnie in the 15 man squad made their Youth ODI debuts this tournament.

While Aussies for example aren't hugely experienced either, they don't go into total U19 hibernation the year between world cups.

Saw Bangladesh scorecard in cricinfo and most of them have 25 to 30 games! Hosts taking it very seriously I guess?

So anyway. I'll try to remember to cut these young fellas a bit more slack ..... They seem a talented group.

On the Ford Trophy. Looks like all 4 semifinalists decided with a round to spare.

Wgtn and ND the deadweights been shaken off.

Jamieson confirmed as 8cm taller than 2m ftr.

Firstly, the angle of the photo is really unhelpful and a total waste of the height-gauging potential of the pose :@.

Secondly, from what can be worked out from the photo, there is barely an inch difference between them and certainly not 8cm. Same shoulder height ffs.

Just because someone says someone is a height doesn't make them that height #Height101

If anything that photo proves that Jamieson can't be 6'8" (although as noted the angle is bad). He appears to be identical height to Fulton at knees, waist, shoulders etc and the only difference is that he has a bigger head and Fulton appears to be hunching slightly. Really just looks like *maybe* an inch.
