Who are you responding to?Gayle played 103 tests, scoring over 7000 runs @ 42.19. Sure its not in the great category, but he was no mug in the test arena. Continued pay issues with West Indies board is the main reason Gayle is concentrating on short format cricket and hasn't played a test since September 2014. He is also 36 years old so many his age no longer play test cricket. As far as "He's not very good at Tests any more...", you have to go back to 2007 to find a test calendar year in which Gayle didn't average at least 40. Makes me wonder what you consider "good".
Holder should've declared at the start of play then enforced the follow-on when Smith declared at 0/0
Is this dickhead serious?
And set NZ over 300 in 40ish overs in Perth a couple of months agoThis is the same Steve Smith who refused to declared at last year's Boxing Day test vs. India btw.
Difference between those was that the series wasn't 100% decided yet. In this case it was.And set NZ over 300 in 40ish overs in Perth a couple of months ago
I would've been against it if I played for Australia ftr. stuff forking out $5 each for a new ball and only use it for a few overs
Steve Smith said they want to win every match though.Difference between those was that the series wasn't 100% decided yet. In this case it was.
