999 yen which according to google is about $11-12 AUD. The site's all in Japanese so I used Chrome to sign up. Chrome has a language translator in it which makes it simple enough to work out. To be fair, JR's knowledge of NJPW wasn't particularly great last year but at this point, JR's worth it in terms of entertainment as a nostalgia act alone, for me. The voice and the emotive calling is just so unique and in stark contrast with modern announcers. (Psychotic human being, sociopathic assasin etc.)
I understand if they'd want to go with someone who's actually in tune with the NJPW/ROH product but JR is one of those guys I can enjoy just listening to him call a match without even watching it. Understand the decision but disappointed nevertheless.
