I see that on the 4th January Sky are giving the 1966 World Cup Final "the Monday Night Football" treatment. Only a bit of fun of course. But I still don't need to know for sure that the third goal didn't cross the line, the fourth shouldn't have stood because there were spectators all over the pitch, or to see us reliving this again when Germany have been in another six Finals since.

Thought of you when I saw it go through. :) Can play anywhere in the forward line, probably best as a right winger, can dribble, doesn't mind getting stuck in, always see him having verbals.
Well this certainly turned out to be true, he is great and also a bit mental, pretty much just charges about all over the place.

You see his goal today?

State of LVG's substitutions again. The bottling epidemic among referees continues, Willian allowed to very obviously handle in the box then Rooney gets away with an obvious red.

There already seems to be a push to label that a good performance but the truth is it was ****e. Chelsea are absolutely terrible. Schweinsteiger was walking past them all game and they just watched him like 'cbf'.
Yeah, it struck me as odd that media tried to paint it as a game where the "players were clearly playing their hearts out for the manager", or "making a concerted effort to play attacking football". Both sides are just so ordinary.

The Leeds owner has banned Sky from next Tuesday's match in protest at Leeds being on TV too much which is reducing attendances. Might be due to the 15 managers he's hired and fired and the crap football.

I'm not sure the media know how to treat APMvG. On the one hand he doesn't give them what they want, on the other his amazing incompetence must be shifting clicks at record-breaking pace.

How much would Lukaku cost?

Seeing as they paid £28m to get him they will want close to £50m I would imagine. Another great piece of man management by Mourinho.

One of the weird subplots of this season is that we're half way through and Aguero and Alexis have scored in three games each, but City and Arsenal are still favourites. Whichever has a stronger 2nd half of the season could be the difference and help their side pull away.

He is hugely important as well of course, as is Sanchez for Arsenal but Aguero would just destroy the league if he could ever actually stay fit for a whole season.
