***Official*** Sri Lanka in New Zealand 2015

I'd list your all-time Australian, South African, Pakistani, Indian & Sri Lankan sides & then revisit that theory. I think you could be underestimating those sides AT XIs.
The Indian and SL sides will be nowhere near New Zealand.

As for Aussie, if you look at individual matchups we look pretty good.

Hayden vs. Guptill
Gilchrist vs. McCullum
Ponting vs. Williamson
Jones vs. Crowe
Hussey vs. Taylor
McGrath vs. Hadlee
Lee vs. Bond
Symonds vs. Chris Cairns

Aussie not clearly ahead on any of those.

BS. You only match us on one of those match-ups.

Is there a message alert system that attracts all the Australian moths to the kiwiviktor candle within seconds of him making a post?

Lol, even twisting things that way, they're still ahead and strangely you've ignored Lillee.

Objectively speaking, our side is not as good as;

Adam Gilchrist+
Mark Waugh
Ricky Ponting
Dean Jones
Michael Hussey
Michael Bevan
Andrew Symonds
Shane Warne (vc)
Brett Lee
Dennis Lillee
Glenn McGrath.

Not even close. Most of those matchups are clear Aus victories.

Nah Gilly was a mile ahead of McCullum.
See, I'd question this. If you look at the last 5 years of McCullum's career, after he stopped floating around the order and became an opener for real, he averages 34 at a strike rate of 110. That's not clearly worse than Gilchrist's 36 at 97. Many batsmen would trade their average going down by 2 runs for their strike rate to go up by 13.

A 1996-2007 career vs. 2002-2015 is not apples.

Yes, comparing Mccullum's best period with Gilchrist's entire career is very fair.

Lel, barely averages 30 even without the gloves, also Gilly never memed us out of a WC win.

Cairns and Vettori are a spot too high surely? Bevan, Symonds and/or Jones in please.

AFAIC the only Kiwi that would definitely make an ATG Oceania ODI XI is Bond, with Cairns and Hadlee possibles.
