Spot the difference between expressing a viewpoint and walking out on the team.Wait, there's people having a go at Hafeez and Azhar? If they don't want to play alongside Amir then they're perfectly entitled to express that viewpoint. It's not unprofessional to do so either.
Whats the principle? I'll be coached by match fixers, play against them in the BPL, play alongside players who knew about it and didnt stop it, but wont play alongside the fixer in question? Seems pretty weak IMO.Being principled isn't unprofessional.
Here you go:Wait, there's people having a go at Hafeez and Azhar? If they don't want to play alongside Amir then they're perfectly entitled to express that viewpoint. It's not unprofessional to do so either.
So Azhar and Hafeez have a moral objection about playing with Amir, a spot-fixer. Good for them. How about they show a bit of consistency with their outrage though? Why are they ok playing under Waqar Younis, who was one of the players named by the Qayyum report as having delved into match-fixing? Have they refused to be in the same room as Wasim Akram, Inzi, and Mushy (all of whom were also named in the Qayyum report)? If not, then **** their selective moral outrage. If they found a way to forgive and forget with those players, then they can do the same with Amir.
That's a fair point. I have lost all respect for him and fins him repulsive after all he's done. What's worse about this 'principle' argument is everyone is still talking about Amir showing no remorse. How does it matter if he shows remorse or not if you are against him playing on principal? His being a **** shouldnt be a factor. Would Hafeez and Azhar still have walked out if Amir went around baking everyone cookies and getting on his knees and begging for forgiveness? Of course not. So **** off with the 'they're standing up for their principles' bull****.
They just dont want to play with him because he is a ****. Thats ****ing unprofessional as an international cricketer. Understandable, yes, but you are being paid to play cricket so unless you really have a genuine principle/concern to make a stand for, pull your head in and do your job.
Do you remember Anwar Ali last year in NZ? He has improved, but not that much, a poor man's Chris Jordan. Its a very average fast bowling attack Pakistan have in limited overs cricket which is why they are so desperate to get Amir back especially after running riot in Bangladesh. The fact he is been rushed back so quickly is the reason why so many people are annoyed. I dunno if Pakistan had held off a little, then people may not have been as annoyed. However the PCB are probably fed up of getting battered in limited overs cricket thus the speedy return. How real is the chance that Mohammed Amir will visit NZ after Sri Lanka? I'm really keen to see what all the fuss is about.
You don't think issuing an ultimatum to your employer forcing him to pick between you or another employee is unprofessional? They're not being unprofessional at all, if anyone feels they don't want to play due to another player in the team, let them have their balls on the line and let the PCB/selection committee weigh it up and make the call between who they'd rather have, simples.
I didnt swear in mine.Lol Amir shouldn't even be playing international cricket. He is a ****ing disgrace.
Can't wait for the day he's kicked out.
WWE? Looks like you expect Amir to fix with those analogies, you two.if we're gonna bring up WWE... I put this akin to Austin taking his ball home when he threw a tanty over Lesnar back in the day
so yeah Azhar, toughen up baby
