Feel sorry for Smitteh watching his performance on The Project tonight.

Bloke has clearly insulated himself within the cricketing scene from an early age and has never had an actual conversation in his life.
Yeah I cant be bothered watching it, but he left school early to go and play county second division cricket. It was always going to be his life.

Is that a joke or is it real life?
Real as real life can be.

Years ago now though, either a T20I match or Champions League one. Very nicely shot too by the cameraman, the bloke's getting treated in the background as Smith has his bat doing his thing on the wicket in the foreground.

IIRC someone uploaded the video of it when Smith-hate was at its prime, need to find it again.

Actually I was wrong, it was the 2011 World Cup and the guy was somehow still conscious.

That was a terrible ball from Tait. No wonder he used to be feared, he was super fast & had almost no control. Would have been a nightmare to face him.

I'd even go as far to say that ball was worse than Waqar's beamer vs Australia in the 2003 WC. Worse by some margin too.

Saw the NSW contingent from the test team at the airport this week and there's little wonder why CA is worried about Haze's durability - guy is a stick insect!

If I didn't know who he was and was told that he was a sportsman, I'd have guessed that he was college basketballer who needed to grow taller and pack on some muscle

Warner was the other interesting one - he's short, skinny and totally unintimidating

How he has gotten away with sledging is beyond me

a tall guy i know who met Warner said he was still intimidating based on his width. He doesn't strike me as "skinny" really... tho obviously he is short.

how tall is he actually meant to be? 5'6?

I don't understand calls for Burns to be dropped, I liked him as a player; a very positive opener and doing a good job at short leg. He didnt get the big scores but always got us to a nice positive start.

Also im still not sold on either Khawaja or Shaun Marsh....
