***Official*** Sri Lanka in New Zealand 2015

Jono

Virat Kohli (c)
Not a great forecast tomorrow and unless rollers like that start happening more often than once in a blue moon then I think this is going to be a real struggle. Even if we get 4 and a half sessions at them it'll be very tight. This pitch is just so easy to bat on.
Lanka are mediocre as **** though

Athlai

Not Terrible
He's averaged 62 since early 2014 and most of the big knocks have been back-to-the-wall.. he's new though so one bad series will drop him off from the top 10.
And Smith and Root have averaged 70 in more difficult conditions against better opposition with significantly more runs.

****s broken yo

The thing is, even though they were better than him during that time, their pre-2014 is not that great. Sarfraz benefits from basically not have much history here.. he has a more volatile rating compared to those two. Pre-2014 is not weighed that much since it's back in the past, but it still has some effect.

That and the runs Sarfraz generally gets are in tougher match situations because of the weak Pak batting line-up.

What's sillier?

> Sarfraz as the fourth best Test batsman in the world right now
> Naman Ojha as the eighteenth best batsman in the world right before his Test debut

Tough call IMO.
