They've been stitched up again by all the talk of a green seamer. Because Baz is a useless tosser it's been a great ploy: rave on and on about greenery and grass cover, get the opposition to insert you on a clayton's green seamer, a sheep dressed up in wolf's clothing.

5 of the top 7 years by New Zealand batsmen have been McCullum, Williamson or Taylor since 2012.

We got a lot of test cricket from 2012-2014 (30 in 3 years) which definitely helped.

NZ quicks have spells where they look promising, but overall are mediocre trundlers who would interest no other international side not named Bangladesh or West Indies.

Hey there's always the chance that on pitches with less bounce, Guptill's inability to correctly judge length won't be as severely punished. Yeah, I know it's a dumb idea, so what.
