What's going to be even more annoying are the articles that are going to bring up Tests like Johannesburg and Wellington and try to draw a trend of India's bowlers lacking the ability to finish off a Test.

Arjun will come in and ask us to pick 5 bowlers, drop Ishant, pick Aaron and some useless trundler who's doing well in the Ranji.

I know that ABdV is more known for his high strike rate, but why do the commentators keep neglecting that he's done this sort of batting when required many times?

It's ****ing stupid. Even the comments on cricinfo were all about his ODI abilities. The guy has done this so well, enough times that you should expect this.

He's played more of these blockathon innings than innings where he's scored at a really high SR (which he plays with regularity in ODIs, not in tests). If anything, people should be more surprised if he scores 100(100) than if he scores 10(100).

Spinning pitches can become good for batting like green tracks too. This should be useful to shut a few idiots up when the time comes.

If his batting was a little better, then Jadeja would be such a beast in test cricket. Watching this series though, crazy that Binny for the Lanka series was picked as an all rounder ahead of him.

The policy seems to be that Binny comes in if there is some seam movement on offer.

Only 2 runs in the last 10 overs and they were both off Pujara. Heh.

EDIT: Screw you CricInfo.
