Who the **** doesn't???Who the **** puts lemon in a G&T?
Lime or cucumber depending on what gin you're drinking.Who the **** doesn't???
Apart from this innings from Amla, De Villiers is the only batsman of the last 10 years to feature in that list, that too twice. And the massive striker that he is in ODIs and T20s, this is amazing.Amla is ofc the holder of the slowest 200-ball innings in history.
Chris Tavare's 35 off 240 a record to aim for now, though what was special about that knock is that it was done in the first innings, while Gooch score 120 off 180 at the other end.
Common alternative to lime for poor peopleWho the **** puts lemon in a G&T?
No the point I was trying to make is that chasing 480 here is impossible. No one is going to get there, irrespective of what happened in this series so far, even if they were 2-0 up by now. I didn't at that time expect them to be able to end Day 4 with 2 wickets, based on the evidence of their batting so far. So what I was saying was for them to try to aim for a respectable total like 250 plus, something they haven't achieved even once in this series.the only statement playing some shots would send would be "we haven't learned anything so far on this tour"
They've done this sort of thing before you know. Several times. No the point I was trying to make is that chasing 480 here is impossible. Anyway, I am enjoying this batting, there is an old school charm about this, from the 40s and 50s, which I only read in books and articles. Although I am not sure if this will ultimately work. 1 wicket and it might come crumbling down.
Agreed, Duminy will be a pain if he bats like these 2, but none of the rest you'd back to be able to stonewall long enough to get them to a draw.India have this in the bag. All it takes is one ball.
Also, I don't find Ab particularly convincing against Ashwin and Jadeja. Even today I thought he looked a bit raw against them. Tomorrow I can see either of them getting through his defence. Maybe it's just the difference in technique affecting my perception but Amla has definitely looked more solid.Agreed, Duminy will be a pain if he bats like these 2, but none of the rest you'd back to be able to stonewall long enough to get them to a draw.
And yeah I do remember the debut of Faf, but he has been a farce this tour, don't think the Indian spinners will be to concerned no matter his approach.
