He's bowling 125-130k out swingers whilst being good enough to bat in the top five as an 18 year old. That's exceptional, especially by New Zealand standards.
Only ever seen his batting but have scoreboard followed his bowling.

I don't fully understand how he is so good at batting as an 18 year old. Nonetheless to be a top 6 batsman for the blackcaps he needs one of the better coaches in the country to work on his on side play with him. His next 24 months are key from a development perspective. He needs to be given specific batting drills with a view to expanding the range of shots he can use to score a single, especially through the on side.

He is very good and is already in the top 50 plunket players despite being a rookie.

I took him first round in Kippax's draft so am a believer. I guess my point is that it is not a slam dunk and that he must work hard.

from watching that I can only assume Kain's thing is getting the batsmen to wince in pain then dismiss them while their eyes are momentarily diverted

Any Wellingtonians keen to head to the Basin Reserve for the hit and giggle this Saturday. I will be there, adding to the baying dozens.

In my glimpses at the game last night:
Good to see that Kugs improvement is still tracking in a very upward trend. I'm starting to wonder what his ceiling might be now.

Also good to see an instance of good athleticism in the field from Sodhi. In the outfield, a good running pick up and bullet throw to prevent a second run. As a budding ODI option now - it will be good if he doesn't have to be hidden in the field.

I'm just waiting for him to have the aha! moment and realise he'd probably stand a better chance of further honours and further wicket taking opportunities if he just flat out converted into a left arm Lasith Malinga.

Love Howsie's description of him as looking like he's taking off his jacket at the same time as bowling.

can we all play this game?

Cribb is a fit for the volts. Large student population will give lots of women in his target age range. The octagon in downtown dunedin will be the subject of many an abstract metaphor that he will build into a daily blog that he keeps on a libertarian social media web site, and a 45 minute drive from invers which cribb will take a shine to as a city due to its understated nature.
lol.
