If he comes off and gets us to 150 plus then the decision to play him was well worth it.
Tbh I think this is a Bracewell pitch in the way that it's turning a bit but still carrying for the seamers.

Makes that accidental cutter he bowls somewhat dangerous.

Yeah I was thinking we'd miss Wagner for those catches in front of the wicket when he gets it to hold up, but then remembered that Bracewell bowls those all the time anyway.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
so I browsed the thread looking for an explanation of this point but found none

why was having the players dive head first into concrete even an option?
Early on Nathan Lyon did a pretty fantastic effort to save a four, narrowly plucking the ball from in front of the foam-rope thing, and went on to bounce into the fence. Michael Slater reckons the ropes make the boundary too short and the players hit the fence anyway, so just do away with them.

Y no Afghanistan flag
they better not have picked Siddle just so he could get 200 wickets

**** this wannabe tough **** off and let the future arrive already!
Yeah the selectors have this desire to see Siddle get 200 Test wickets

Edit didnt mean to hit send so early. But basically weve just had like 6 retirements, a proven performer is smart not always going for thebfuture in the now.

he's got a good eye, can hit nice drives, turns the ball and is from the right province

i reckon it's 36 months too early but if he can go big here i will happily cop howsie following me around CW for the summer reminding me.

The Star Sports feed has suddenly shifted to in-house commentary with Alan Wilkins and Matthew Hayden.

Presumably being spared from Healy and co tucking into NZ now.
