**Official** New Zealand in Australia 2015

NZTailender

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Argh. He's a batting all rounder, New Zealand obvs don't feel comfortable going into a test like this with Doug Bracewell playing at seven.
imho we'd get more out of playing Brownlie at 6 and asking him to send down a few overs than Santner imho

So local time the first session is from 2:00pm until 4:00pm

How long is the break at 4:00pm?

And then how long is the dinner break?

I'm sceptical about this whole exercise, but can't deny that I'm very excited and hopeful for it.

We tour once every 5 years, what does this mean?
And we don't always go to Adelaide when we do. When was the last time we played there? 2008?

I remember Aaron Redmond playing really well until he played a dumb shot and was caught on the boundary within sight of a ton.

Yeah, basically the entire batting lineup got so excited at the sight of Aaron ****ing Redmond scoring runs, that they all came out and batted in full cbf-mode. NZ promptly slumped to 200/5 and eventually 300 all out. Australia racked up about 600 in reply and finished things off inside 4 days.

So we're bowling first. Nice.
Tbf, deciding whether to bat or bowl first for this test is probably the most difficult call in the last 40 or so years of test cricket. On that basis I'm backing McCullum to finally win one.

The 2nd new ball under lights will certainly give teams an incentive to make sure they bowl quickly enough to get through the full 90.
