I found that my eyes adjusted to it eventually. It's quite tough from a viewing perspective to see the damn ball. Hopefully the international coverage will enhance it.
Someone who knows Adelaide better than me to correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that's unique to the pink ball. Adelaide's one of those grounds where you want to get funky with field placings in front of the batsmen because the bowlers get absolutely **** all out of the deck.Lots of catches in front of the wicket in the pink ball cricket from Adelaide.
Damn you, Cribbage! You blew it up! Damn you all to hell!It was only Cribbage getting Hesson geoblocked out of the vault and incapable of seeing Wagner's wickets in recent weeks that denied him a run in Perth, itbt.
Yeah, I was for bringing Bracewell in for Wagner at the start of the year, and I stand by that on the basis that Wagner was bowling seriously floaty nonsense at the time. But there's no doubt in my mind that - on average - Wagner is a better bowler than Doug and brings more value to the side with his stamina and canny use of the crease. He's the only other bowler in New Zealand besides Southee and Boult who I feel could be relied on to change the momentum of a game when nothing's happening.BeeGee said:I'm buggered if I know why Hesson keeps picking Bracewell over Wagner as the third seamer.
In the last 3 years Wagner has played 14 tests and Bracewell 9, Wagner has 54 wickets at an avg. of 33, Bracewell has 18 wickets at 56. Wagner even has a slightly better economy rate of 3.40 to Bracewell's 3.47.
So a possible reunion of the attack which NZ was up against last time at Brisbane and Hobart 2011 - Pattinson, Siddle, Starc and Lyon.Surplus Siddle now sorely needed | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo
looks like Skinny Pete is in line to make his debut. Don't necessarily mind that as long as Pattinson plays. Time for Hazlewood to probably get a bit of break
