Pravesh shukla: "my favorite MJ moment:when he rattled the stumps of broad down the leg side...and then the ferocious glare he gave to broad when he walked past by..not a word, just a ferocious glare. "
I know cricinfo loves to post trash but this is simply epic.

A few great innings and Starcs spell and not a lot else there you'd have to say.

Competitive but only between Australia and NZ, bat and ball? Nah.

Bring on the pink ball.

Crap test really, only worth watching for Warner and Taylor's innings (for contrasting reasons) and Starc's spell on day 3. But at least NZ held there own and have brought a bit of respectability to the series.

So, should NZ play Boult at Adelaide? He looks rubbish, and I seriously doubt he's going to improve much in the next 10 days...but dat pink ball under lights...

Surely that standout moment would be the conveyor belt of England batsman he dismissed in Australia?

They could at least have given him one last dangerous over to break someone's ****ing arm.
I would have been down for that. They could have announced over the loud speaker "Ladies and Gentlemen the light meter says it is time to come off the field but we have decided to allow Mitch one last over anyway."

Worth noting that after Williamsons first 40 innings he averaged 31.86 and that was only March 2013. 39 innings and he's turned that into 49.26.

Averaged about 70 since.

Man of the match should have been Jono wells. Took a significant catch when he caught Taylor. Probably the third best fielder in the game behind guptill and warner

Missed a run out and ran the wrong way to let an easy stop go for four.

Probably one of the worst.

I reckon it's better to divide Kane's career up into three phases

The "Too soon" phase: October 2010 - October 2012
884 runs at 31.57 (2 centuries)

The "He has arrived" phase: November 2012 - March 2014
1080 runs at 41.53

The "A god walks among us" phase: June 2014 onwards
1632 runs at 85.89 (with 7 centuries from 23 innings)

Btw, does anyone know how long the breaks between sessions will be during the day night test? Will it be a 40 minute tea and 20 minute dinner, or vice versa?
