Maybe if you put in a minimum number of tests. Remember Skippy Sinclair would have averaged 200 by himself once upon a time.Ross Taylor ave: 46.65
Kane Williamson ave: 48.98
Must be the highest NZ has ever had on the field in a Test, no?
True, but Sinclair probably never had a guy averaging 47 at the other end at any time. I was thinking of the highest of the lowest of the two batsmen, if that makes sense.Maybe if you put in a minimum number of tests. Remember Skippy Sinclair would have averaged 200 by himself once upon a time.
Yep, 31/01/1991 Jones Averaged 49.32 and Crowe 48.25. Crowes highest average at any point in his Career, so I'm guessing thats the best baring any pair who have just had good debut's.True, but Sinclair probably never had a guy averaging 47 at the other end at any time. Jones and Crowe would be close as Jones was over 50 for a fair bit of his career and Crowe 46 or so.
Nah, there's actually been a few occasions NZ batsmen have had really high averages at the same time, if only for a short time.Ross Taylor ave: 46.65
Kane Williamson ave: 48.98
