Bossco!!

These two have done incredibly well to weather this from Starc and I don't care in the least that they needed a little luck to do so.

I was fairly worried about one edging Hazlewood behind at the other end too.

Man imagine if we had this spell with the 1st new ball. We'd have been slaughtered.

Ross just trying his best to prove Geg right and overshadow Kane.

Great knock. Not least because had he gotten out at the start of that spell, NZ would probably be 7 down by now.

Maybe Kooka has put all their eggs into producing a test-quality pink ball and let their red ones go to ****.

I love the less than 80 overs for new ball suggestion too. Make it 60.

Wow, who thought Ross had 150 in him. Champagne.

Has the 80 overs for a new ball rule always been in place or seen some changes along the years?

Nothing like watching an evenly-balanced contest between bat and ball

It has been great watching Williamson bat I have to admit, and Taylor's been pretty outstanding this knock. That said, it would be nice if the bowlers from both teams were given a reason to turn up, and I'm sure NZ were thinking the same after the 250 and 100-odd from Warner and Khawaja 1st innings. I'm not asking for much, just the mere hint something might happen for the bowlers for a majority of the match. Although I guess not having that makes spells like the current one more exciting.

Great innings Roscoe, after that first test performance I was wondering how much longer he'd last in the side. That on drive to bring up the 150 was sublime.

Good question, legitimately wouldn't have a clue. If it was 80 8-ball overs previously, that would've been torturous at times. Especially seeing 6 of them were banged in halfway for some sides.
