im now wishing yesterday was half an hour longer so ross would have had a longer bat while he was on a roll and australia were a bit more sedate

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Swear Slats was legit good commentator in his first couple of years. Reminds me of that episode of Family Guy where Brian has a respectable radio show and then turns into a shock jock to be popular.

yeah he was just happy to be there at the start, the way his test career ended i dont think anybody expected to ever see him again on tv lol

I honestly think half of the Australian commentary box have been much better in the past or have been better on other networks. C9 style IMO.

He first started commentating in England while he was still playing; he's an intelligent person and knows the game well. Just has branded up for Channel 9.
