they've got a good plan to Taylor. He's been quietly poor against the short ball for a good few years now, ever since he got hit by Pakistan I think. Before that he pulled and hooked a lot.

They've got a good plan but they're not executing it as well as they could be. Too far off the mark at times, a touch too far down leg.

ian smith is better when he's elsewhere and it's not a race to get the first word in tbf. i don't envy anyone trying to make a point with slater, lee or healy next to them. ian chappell went about 20 minutes yesterday before he could get a word in.
